We are delighted to announce that the route of temporary shuttle bus for Walcot West during Upham Road repair work will be changed to go via Burford Avenue following a suggestion from a local resident. This will make it much more accessible for residents.
We have been advised that the new route will start from July 9th.
Thanks are due to bus company Access for their flexibility and to Council Highway’s officers and the local MP for their support for the proposal
Councillors have been told that the first bin collection generally went well. We are aware of some issues with collection in Campden Road which have been reported to the council. We will continue to monitor future collections and liaise with Contractors and Council staff if there are any problems

Some of the information is now out-of-date but it contains information on the Queens Drive Bus Gate and an update of work so far.
