Labour Majority South Swindon Parish Council have agreed to freeze residents’ Parish Precept for 2018/19.
South Swindon Parish Council has cut the rental cost for allotment plots within the South Swindon Parish from £60+ to £46 for residents living in the Parish.
Based in the Arts Centre in Devizes Road, has been refurbished and now contains a room which is entirely focused at young children and includes two murals by children’s book illustrator Fred Blunt – an Old Town resident!
The library still contains an adult section, and you can order books from the entire Swindon stock.
New computers are being installed in both the adults’ and the children’s areas. The library was saved as a result of Parish Council securing additional funding.
