Nadine Watts says:
It has been an honour to be your councillor in Old Town and East Wichel since 2012. I love being part of this great community. I have enjoyed listening to residents’ views, getting involved with community events, attending residents’ associations meetings and going to 100% of Council meetings.
Since 2015, I have raised over 1070 cases for residents showing my continued commitment to the local community. I promise to continue to work hard, supporting local people, always putting Old Town and East Wichel residents first.
I will take an active role in plans such as the Corn Exchange, preserving the Town Gardens Bowl and improving play areas. It is great that we have a revitalised Old Town library. As both a parish and borough councillor I campaigned to save the library, for it to be refurbished, and secured its long-term future. I am seeking to obtain additional opening hours soon, so that even more people can enjoy this fantastic facility.
I hope you will choose to vote for me again in the local elections on Thursday 3 May.
