  • We are pleased to have secured the clearance of the River Fleet which has been causing local flooding.
  • We are tackling the problem of unreported road accidents in Central.
  • We continue to lead on the Resident Parking reviews with the Railway Village consultation now started.
  • We are working to set up a County Ground users group to manage their own facilities and make better use of the park. New facilities at the Athletic track are due soon
  • We have assisted in the delivery of a  new Match Day parking scheme in Pavilion Close and Marsh Farm Lane. We are seeking better Match Day parking in Central.
  • We are seeking highway changes to lower speeds on Wootton Bassett Road  and Redpost Drive after feedback from residents
  • We have consulted on two schemes to reduce the high number of accidents on Curtis Street. This has led to a further request to lower speeds to 20mph in the area, which include William St, Albion St and the Cambria Bridge area.
  • We have asked for Heavy Large vehicles to be directed away from the Cambria Bridge area.
  • We are pressing for pedestrian crossings at Halfords, Menzies and Corporation Street
  • We are following up on the Averies fire and assisting with the Inquiry.
  • Work has started on the new school we helped to secure for the Town centre.
