West Swindon Library Set to Relocate in Link Centre

As part of the Council’s transfer of the Link Centre, to a leisure organisation called GLL, new plans have come to light which will mean the West Swindon Library will move from its current location to the upper floor inside the Link Centre. This move has been met with concern by library users and community groups who use the library and believe losing its prominent location will lead to reduced usage.

Lydiard & Freshbrook Councillor, Cindy Matthews, said “I support the campaign to keep the West Swindon Library in its current location. Together with my fellow West
Swindon Councillors I have urged the organisation that will be running the Link Centre to change their plans and keep the library in its currently accessible location
”.
