We would like to make residents in Walcot and Park North aware that there will be some coring works taking place on some roads within our Ward over the coming weeks, the roads affected are Eastern Ave, Somerville Road, Hatton Grove and Burnham Road / Clevedon Close.
Coring is where road maintanance engineers take samples of the different layers below the roads surface to determine how best to handle future maintanance and ensure that road surfaces are kept in good condition (and free of potholes!)
These works do not take much time and therefore disruption will be minimum.
