The meeting will take place on Thursday September 29th at 6.00 pm at Buckhurst Community Centre (Walcot Dome) Burghley Close.
The Tory Council have proposed introducing Parish Councils (mini-councils) across Swindon. The council no longer has the money to cut the grass, empty litter bins and look after childrens play equipment.
They want new Parish councils to take on these services.
Parish Councils can impose a tax in addition to your council tax to pay for these services and anything else they might take on like community buildings.
This is an opportunity for residents to ask questions about parish councils and register views.
