Work will take place at Junction 16 of the M4 from mid-October to upgrade the highway junction. In October, site surveys and clearance work will take place with the major construction work taking place by mid-November. For more information: www.swindon.gov.uk/junction16
Hesketh Crescent Play Area Update
It is disappointing that this play area still isn't open, following the contractor going into administration. A new contractor has now been appointed and legal agreement signed. The work should only take 2 weeks to complete. We are awaiting the start date for this completion work. When we know the date, we will let you know.
East Wichel Restrictive Parking Scheme
The Council are looking at doing a phased introduction of the parking restrictions over about 6 weeks, starting around 2 October. Parking will only be permitted in the designated parking bays. Once the details are confirmed, we will let you know. A letter will go out to all East Wichel residents to let them know the final proposal.
