I was honoured to be re-elected as an Old Town Councillor in May. I'll continue to be in contact all year round and work towards improving openness, transparency and accountability. Being an Old Town Councillor has been very rewarding. I have met many wonderful community spirited people who work hard to improve the area in which we live.

The consultation on children's centres has now closed. The Croft Children's Centre is under threat and we have submitted a response highlighting their importance. The museum is looking to relocate to the town centre. We'll continue to fight to keep the existing library hours at the Arts Centre and to support local businesses who would like to see the first hour of parking free in Old Town.
