NOTICE OF TEMPORARY TRAFFIC ORDER
SWINDON HALF MARATHON – 13 OCTOBER 2013
This Order is being introduced to allow for the Swindon Half Marathon to take place and will involve various road closures and restrictions as follow:
The following roads will be CLOSED:
Pipers Way, Marlborough Rd, Broome Manor Lane, Day House Lane, Bericot Lane, Badbury Lane, the Ridgeway, Hill Farm Road, The Hollow (Ham Rd to the Ridgeway), Ham Rd and Bell Lane (Hill Farm Rd to B4192), B4192 (A419 Commonhead Roundabout to Aldbourne), Medbourne Rd, The road from the A346 Plough Hill to Badbury Village, U/C road from Badbury Village due south to the intersection at The Ridgeway.
The following road will be ONE WAY (direction of travel west to east):
Marlborough Rd between Pipers Way and Coate Roundabout.
NO RIGHT HAND TURN onto Marlborough Road from the following roads:
Bruddel Grove, Windsor Rd, Sandringham Rd
No LEFT HAND TURN into Marlborough Road from the following roads:
Downs View Rd, The Birches, The Acorns
ALL CLOSURES AND RESTRICTION WILL BE SIGN POSTED INCLUDING DIVERSIONS
All closures and restrictions will be in place on the 13 OCTOBER 2013 from 4am to 10 pm with the exception of Pipers Way between Nationwide Roundabout and Marlborough Road which will be in place on the 12 October 2013 from 9am to 10 pm on the 13 October 2013
