I was disappointed to hear that the community café in Queen’s Park was vandalised after the Peace Day celebration in the park on Sunday 21 September. It is really upsetting for everyone involved, especially Gill and the other volunteers who give up their time for free to help out.
No money is ever kept in the café overnight and all the money raised goes back to the local community and is used to make the park and local area a better place for us all. If anyone has any information that can help in finding who caused the damage then please call the police on 101.
