Swindon Labour Cllr Nadine Watts (Old Town) said "I attended the public exhibition at East Wichel Primary School on Thursday 14 February.  It was good to speak to local residents and the developers to discuss the plans for the Mid Wichel District Centre.  Please find attached copies of the plans that were on display."

The plans are for a 40,000 sq.ft supermarket (inc. service yard and pedestrian access), a 250 space car park accessed via a new junction on Mill Lane, and a new Café within the supermarket adjacent to the canal.

Plans for the proposed development are available below for you to download and review if you were unable to make it to the public exhibition.

Updated information on the highways works associated with the development are available here.
