Updates from Councillor Nadine Watts covering community events, the new play area at Angel Ridge and re-development of the Corn Exchange.
It was great to see so many people attend the Sausage and Ale Trail in Wood Street – The Old Town Business & Professional Association did a brilliant job organising this event. I also enjoyed the Swindon Open Studio event – there are some amazing artists in Old Town. I look forward to these events taking place again next year.
The Angel Ridge play area is well under way and should be completed by the beginning of November.
I am attending a meeting about the Corn Exchange development with its developer in October. The timescales and the details of the planning application are due to be discussed and I'll keep residents updated on the outcome of this meeting.
