Traffic surveys on Mill Lane have taken place pre and post Waitrose opening.  Comparing the data, it is the Local Highway Authority’s view that:

• there is no immediate need to close Mill Lane
• that there has been no significant change to traffic speeds and volumes
• and the Local Highway Authority will continue to monitor the situation with additional surveys undertaken when necessary
