The much awaited play area at Angel Ridge opened to the public on Monday 19th January. I hope local residents will enjoy this play area for years to come.
Councillor Nadine Watts said: “I am really pleased that the Angel Ridge play area is now open. It is frustrating that residents have had to wait so long for the play area to be completed. The main delay was the discovery of two strategic water mains which the Council had to accommodate and agree with Thames Water.
When I met the landscape architect on site earlier this year, I was impressed by the quality of the design. Now that it is open, I think it is something quite special, may be even award winning.
I hope local residents will enjoy this play area for years to come.”
