Old Town Tower
I am pleased that the proposed plans for the 14 storey "Old Town Tower" have been withdrawn. So many local residents were against this proposal which was so out of character with Old Town. We hope that the developers will listen and work with local people to develop plans for a building that is more in keeping with the area.
East Wichel
The parking restrictions have now been signed off. Implementation is currently planned for October this year. I'll keep you updated.
Library Campaign
Urgent action is needed to save Swindon's library service. There are plans to slash the library budget by 65%. Emerging plans show only Central library would continue in its current form. Others could be run on a volunteer basis or be at risk of closure. Please sign the petition by following this link.
