Your Mannington & Western Team have been working with residents in Toothill and Westlea to secure Locality funding for highways projects in West Swindon. The following projects have been approved subject to budget confirmation:
Westlea Drive Additional Dropped Kerbs:
The Westlea Residents’ Association put forward the idea for additional dropped kerbs along Westlea Drive including the closes of Benwell, Moresby, Hadleigh, Alveston and Thornford Drive. This will provide easier pedestrian access for everyone. Thank you to the Residents’ Association for their hard work and commitment to this scheme.
Toothill Village Centre:
Local residents requested a more permanent access to the school and a footpath will now be installed from the car park on Stokesay Drive to the Hazelwood Academy School. Also, the disabled parking bays will be repainted in the main car park.
