Your elected Shaw councillors have shown that they continuously vote for inappropriate development by their voting record on the council’s planning committee.
I understand that everyone needs a home to live in but I do not support development whilst medical facilities, schools, roads, water, sewage and flood prevention struggle to keep pace with spiralling demand.
Your local councillors have done nothing to secure the desperately needed Thamesdown Drive/Barnfield link road to take traffic away from Shaw. Whilst Mead Way grinds to a daily halt your Conservative councillors dither and backslide having spent the design and construction money elsewhere in Swindon.
