School Safety Zones are set to be launched in the coming months at Nythe/Nyland School and Dorcan College. With a backlog of schools wanting School Safety Zones, it is great that 3 schools in the Covingham & Dorcan Ward have managed to get funding from the Council for these zones.
School Safety Zones are set to be launched in the coming months at Nythe/Nyland School and Dorcan College. With a backlog of schools wanting School Safety Zones, it is great that 3 schools in the Covingham & Dorcan Ward have managed to get funding from the Council for these zones.
The aim of safety zones is to improve the safety of pupils and adults walking in the school area during the opening and closing times of schools and the zones are set within the 20mph flashing signs.
