Old Town Quality Bus Corridor
Consultation continues on the proposed scheme between Wichelstowe and the town centre. More detailed options are being developed and additional traffic signals at the junctions in Old Town do not form part of the scheme designs. There will be a further round of public consultation in early December. Please have your say. More information is available here.
Wroughton Park and Ride (P&R) Access Improvements
this scheme has been proposed because the predominant use of the P&R car park has changed as the number of spaces leased to Nationwide has increased. It is hoped the changes will improve road safety and ease congestion. It is expected to take two months and be completed in January 2017.
M4 Junction 16 Improvements
work includes widened slip roads, replacement of traffic lights and a dedicated right turn from A3102 Swindon Road to Hay Lane. Completion expected spring 2018.
