We are delighted that the future of Richard Jefferies Adventure Playground has been secured. The Playgrounds future was uncertain after Tory Cuts have put plans to refurbish the site on hold.
Following pressure from the community and a press campaign, the Council announced that the playground will be refurbished and reopened to the public.
Fay said: ‘We are delighted with this news. However the Tory cuts mean that play staff have been made redundant. We will continue our campaign for better Youth facilities for Parks’.
