Following requests by residents, some of the potholes in Goddard Avenue were repaired on 2 June. However, because so many cars were parked along the street, a large amount of the work could not be carried out.
Thank you to everyone who moved their cars. It is a problem when people who do not live in the area park their cars on the road when work is scheduled to be carried out.
In order to complete the outstanding work, there will be a road closure for Goddard Avenue on 1st, 2nd & 3rd August and Belmont Crescent on 3rd & 4th August.
It will probably be from 8am to 3.30pm. Access to garages will try to be maintained as much as possible.
The road closure signs should go up the week before.
