With money from the developers becoming available we will be making it our priority to ensure investment is put into Coate Water Country Park. Last year we raised with the ruling conservatives that more than £3m had been splashed out on Lydiard Park since 2003 compared to just £44,000 on the upkeep and regeneration of Coate Water in the same time period. We then saw the opening of the popular splash park. Coate Water continues to be used and enjoyed by many Swindon residents we need to keep and maintain this valued resource.
