In the New Year I will be taking part in a sponsored “Ride around Gambia” (in a gym, on an exercise bike) to raise funds to build a nursery school in Gambia. Empower is a charity founded by an Eastcott resident which works with local communities in Gambia to improve community and educational facilities. I took part in a trip in 2010 to do some teaching and renovation in one of the schools supported.

Can you help cycle part of the 422 mile challenge? Empower needs to raise £1600 to complete Agape Nursery School, Bansang, The Gambia, which is due to open in April 2014.
