Now the elections are over we, as your local councillors, are working with officers to get costings over different options as to how the village centre can be regenerated.
We are still seeking to hold a public consultation to discuss the Liden Village Centre regeneration scheme. Residents may remember that thanks to lobbying from councillors and residents, the Council earlier in the year agreed to spend an extra £100K on this scheme however a public consultation on how this money should be spent had to be delayed until after the elections.
