The contractors have been instructed to have their advanced warning boards in place early next week and to letter drop residents / businesses, and also to provide a large VMS sign at the Magic Roundabout / Drove Road junction for the duration of the works to give additional warning.

During this period the Council have also coordinated other works for Wales & West and Thames Water to be carried out in Devizes Road in order to maximise the use of this closure.
Cllr Nadine Watts (Old Town) said, "It is unfortunate to hear that Devizes Road will be closed again for sewer repairs. I hope that all we be done to minimise the disruption to local residents and local businesses."
