Nadine Watts (Cllr, Old Town) said: “We all would like to see the Corn Exchange back in use, and Old Town to become more vibrant and sustainable.

“The Planning Brief will ensure that any future plans brought by developers make the best use of the buildings and bring a well balanced mix of uses. We have worked with many partners to get to this stage, and look forward to hearing your views."

The brief is available to view on-line at www.swindon.gov.uk/spd and at the Council’s One Stop Shop at Wat Tyler House. It is also available to see at five libraries across the Borough – Old Town, North Swindon, West Swindon, Highworth and the Central Library.
