After a number of years of eyesore fencing surrounding the Wagtail Close Bridge, there appears to be progress on this matter.
Because responsibility for removing the fence had fallen between the Council, Taylor Wimpey and the Environment Agency it has taken too long for the fencing to be removed and residents have rightly raised concerns. However 9 months ago the Environment Agency said to me they were satisfied it was safe for the fencing to be removed and it is promising that Taylor Wimpey have said that they will take away the fencing following works to remove some graffiti in the area around the bridge.
