Your Councillors in the Walcot and Park North ward would like to inform you of an application made by Churchfields Academy for an all weather football pitch and give advanced notice of a meeting to be hald by New College on Thursday 5th February relating to a possible all weather football pitch on green space near the college site.
As your Councillors in the Walcot and Park North ward we would like to inform you of an application made by Churchfields Academy for an all weather football pitch.
It is currently on public consultation process and the consultation ends on 5th February 2015, so if you wish to make any comments please do so by this date at
www.swindon.gov.uk/planning.
New College Site
Please note that New College is also expected to submit an application for an all weather football pitch on the green open space by the college.
The college is holding a public meeting on Thursday 5th February at 6.00pm at the college and residents are invited to attend the meeting and give their opinion of the proposal.
Should the proposal go ahead and planning permission be obtained it will mean a loss of green space for local residents. Should you have any queries please contact your ward Councilor
