I have been a councillor since 2008 and was re-elected in 2012.

I came into politics to serve the people of my ward and town to the best of my abilities based on the Labour values of fairness, justice and equality. I will always stand up for the poor, weak and the most vulnerable in our society.
I am also as supporter of the co-operative movement and it's values which can contribute to improving many areas of our public life.
