Due to running up massive council debts of over £200m and Tory government cuts of £80m across 4 years, the Council’s Conservative Administration’s response is to have another Vision for Swindon. After 10 years of failing to deliver a new Town Centre you would think they would tackle the debt first. Don’t worry if you think you have seen this all before, you probably have. The pledges are mainly promises they have failed to deliver previously. Perhaps all they should do is simply pledge not to break any more promises again.
