Councillor Fay Howard stores equipment lent out for clean-up events. The gloves, grippers and hoops make collecting the litter safer for all. Fay regularly attends the clean-up events in Eldene, which are run by the Eldene Residents Association. This Saturday, 9 full black bags were collected in just an hour. The group varies where we go, and Morrison's are very kind in donating refreshments for the volunteers. All the rubbish is heaped together in the recycling area which the neighbourhood wardens then remove.
