Angel Ridge Play Area Update from Labour Councillor Nadine Watts

I think that the actual design is fantastic, hopefully award winning.  It was great to meet with the landscape architect who had so much enthusiasm and creativity and to see it all come together.

Councillor Nadine Watts met on site with the landscape architect on Thursday 11 December.  It is so very near completion.  They were working hard.  We are still waiting on the tarmac gang to finish some work.  I know that the contractors are trying to get a tarmac gang on site before Christmas.  It shouldn't take more than 2 days to do the tarmacking, it is a just a case of finding a team that is available.  The play area cannot open until this work has been done, as there would be too many trip hazards otherwise.
