Bedroom Tax Demonstration – Saturday 30th March

Since the 16th March, the Bedroom Tax campaign has staged more than 60 peaceful protests, successfully, in every corner of the UK.  On Saturday, the 30th March, the campaign steps up a gear as protests are being held across the UK, including one in Swindon. As well as this, there are 50 more protests planned throughout the UK on that day.

The central objective of the campaign has been to maintain as broad a coalition as possible, so as to send a clear unequivocal message to David Cameron. The nation opposes the Bedroom Tax. It is unfair to penalise these people on the very same day you hand a tax cut to millionaires.

Labour Left is spearheading the majority of the Bedroom Tax protests, but a whole host of other organisations are playing their part.
