I fully support the 20 is plenty campaign in residential areas.  It is in accordance with the guidance from the Department of Transport.  No changes are to take place in Angel Ridge as the physical characteristics and 20mph zone signs at the entrance are already in place, as this was part of the planning and development of the residential estate.

New Crossing at Toothill Primary School

After requests from parents and school children at Toothill Primary School in the Mannington and Western ward Labour Councillors have arranged for a new crossing to be put in place outside the school’s main pedestrian entrance.  Previously children and parents had no designated crossing, having to walk through muddy grass verges which was anything but ideal.
