Cllr Nadine Watts (Old Town & East Wichel Ward) said: "I am really pleased that a contractor has been appointed and that work is due to commence this month on the play area in East Wichel. Residents have had a long wait for this. I am sure they will be relieved to see work start at the end of the month. I hope this play area is finished for the summer holidays."
