Taylor Wimpey has applied for planning permission to build 62 dwellings at Croft Road. I have emailed the planning department at Swindon Borough Council to object to this proposal, as it is not in the local plan and I think this land should act as a buffer between the existing houses on Croft Road and East Wichel. It is a speculative proposal. I also share the concerns of a number of residents who have already raised concerns including traffic, pollution, flooding and infrastructure.
