Your Eastcott Labour Team has welcomed the improvements made to Old Town Library, which now contains a room entirely focused at young children.
These improvements were made by Labour-majority South Swindon Parish Council who have taken over the library after it is was threatened with closure.
Eastcott Labour Candidate, Imtiyaz Shaikh, and Eastcott Labour Councillor, Paul Dixon, are both members of the Parish Council and supported these improvements. They are delighted young children have such a fantastic library to use and learn.
As well as the new children’s room within the library, the library’s opening hours have been extended by Labourmajority South Swindon Parish Council and more improvements to the rest of the library are on the way.
