Tell Robert Buckland you Oppose cuts to the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme

Proposals to change the Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme (CICS) have been brought back and go before the Delegated Legislation Committee at 11:30am on Thursday November 1st (after being withdrawn in September following cross-party opposition).

The government has appointed MPs holding parliamentary private secretary (PPS) positions to the committee who are obliged to vote along government lines in preparation for the meeting.

Robert Buckland, South Swindon’s Conservative MP, is on the Committee that will decide the fate of CCIS, write to him now (robert.buckland.mp@parliament.uk) to express your concerns about this unjustifiable cut which will hit the most vulnerable people at exactly the moment when they need support the most.
